The social app for travelers
TravelPal puts the tourists, locals and businesspeople around you on one live map — so you can plan a trip before you land and meet someone worth meeting once you do.

The trip you take alone
A trip is booked in advance — the flight, the hotel, the tickets. The one thing you cannot book is a single person to share any of it with.
Every travel app shows you places. None of them show you who is actually there — the other travelers on your dates, the local who would happily point you somewhere better.
The bar worth queuing for, the beach without the crowd, the table without the two-hour wait. A local knows. A guidebook, written two years ago, does not.
Meetings end, the sights close, and the gap until tomorrow is you, a hotel bar and a phone. Nobody books a trip for the hours in between, but that is where it is won or lost.
Every time. By the time a trip finally introduces you to your people, the taxi to the airport is already booked.

How it works
No feed to scroll, no algorithm to please. You say who you are and where you will be, and TravelPal shows you the people worth meeting.
Your role colors the whole app.
Tourist, local or businessperson — traveling solo, as a couple, or with the family. Your role decides who finds you and what TravelPal shows you first, and it tints every screen so you always know who you are looking at.
You can be a tourist in one city and a local in your own — the app follows where you are.

Before you fly, or the moment you land.
Add a destination and your dates to line up locals and travelers who will be there when you are — or just flip LIVE on where you are right now to appear on the map. Most people do both.
Turn LIVE off and your coordinates are cleared from the server — you drop off the map entirely.

From a pin on a map to a plan for tonight.
Browse the live map or the nearby list, connect, and take it to chat. Share a one-tap location when it is finally time to meet, so “where are you?” stops being a twenty-minute conversation.
Connections are two-way and every profile has block and report — nobody arrives uninvited.

Features
TravelPal is built around one question — who is near me, right now, that I would actually want to meet?
Tourists, locals and businesspeople appear as color-coded pins around you. Flip LIVE on to be visible; flip it off and your coordinates are cleared from the server entirely.

Search the people in your city right now, filtered by who they are and how far away they are.
Set a destination and your dates, then line up locals and travelers who’ll be there when you are.
Traveling with kids? Match with families whose children are around the same age.
Instant messaging with one-tap location sharing, so “where are you?” stops being a twenty-minute conversation.

Profile verification, opt-in location sharing, two-way connections so nobody messages you out of nowhere, and block and report on every profile.

Who it’s for
Your role decides who finds you and what the app shows you first — and it colors the whole interface, so you always know who you are looking at.
Landing somewhere new? Find other tourists on the same dates and locals who actually want to show you around.

Live somewhere worth visiting? Meet the people passing through your city and show them the version of it that never makes the guidebooks.

In town for meetings? Turn the dead evenings between them into dinners, networking and the occasional round of golf.

Inside the app
No dark patterns, no infinite feed. Just the shortest path from “I’m here” to “let’s meet”.
In practice
Nobody needs an app for the flight or the hotel. The gap between the things you booked is where a trip is actually won or lost.
Solo · three days in Lisbon
You turn LIVE on at the airport, see four locals within a few miles, and by lunch someone has told you which of the two famous bakeries is the one worth queuing for.
Business · a week in Berlin
Your calendar ends at six and the hotel bar is empty. Two other people in town for work have the same gap and the same interests — dinner sorts itself out.
Family · half-term in London
You match with a family whose children are the same ages as yours, arriving the same week. The playground stops being a place you wait and starts being a place you talk.

Every plan unlocks exactly the same thing — so pick the one that matches how often you travel, not the one with the longest feature list.

Safety & privacy
TravelPal is a location app, which means the settings that matter most are the ones that let you disappear.
You appear on the map only while LIVE is on. Turn it off and your coordinates are cleared server-side — you don’t go stale, you go away.
Inside a chat you can send a one-off location when it’s time to meet, without being visible to anyone else.
Verification puts a badge on profiles that have proved they are who they say they are.
Both actions sit on every profile and in every chat. Connections are two-way, so nobody arrives in your inbox uninvited.

FAQ
TravelPal is a social app for travelers. It connects three kinds of people — tourists, locals and businesspeople — so you can find someone worth meeting in whatever city you happen to be in. You can see who is nearby on a live map, search your destination before you fly, and message people in real time.
Yes. Creating a profile, adding travel plans, messaging your connections, sharing your location with them, and leaving reviews are all free. Premium unlocks discovery: the live map, Explore browsing, nearby search, and trip planning.
There are four options and all of them unlock exactly the same features: a Trip Pass at $4.99 for a single 1–4 day trip, $9.99 per week, $19.99 per month, or $149.00 once for lifetime access. Subscriptions can be cancelled any time from your device’s store settings.
Only if you choose to. Location sharing is opt-in and controlled by the LIVE toggle on the map — turn it off and your coordinates are cleared from the server, so you drop off the map entirely. You can also share a one-off location inside a chat without going LIVE.
Profiles can be verified, every profile has block and report actions, and connections are two-way — nobody can message you out of nowhere. Location sharing is always opt-in, and you can withdraw it at any moment.
TravelPal runs on iPhone, iPad and Android phones and tablets. Your profile, connections and messages sync across whichever devices you sign in on.
Yes. Family profiles let you list your children’s ages, and family trip search matches you with other families visiting the same city with kids in a similar age range.
Free to join. Set up a profile in a couple of minutes, add where you’re going, and see who’s already there.
